Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nanny/Personal Caregiver to provide exceptional childcare and support within a private home setting. This role involves nurturing and engaging children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, while ensuring their safety, development, and well-being. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, a passion for caregiving, and experience working with children with disabilities. You will be an integral part of the family’s daily routine, assisting with childcare tasks, light household duties, meal preparation, and transportation as needed. Duties
- Provide attentive care for children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical development
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and nap times
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Support children with disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care to foster independence and confidence
- Maintain a clean and organized home environment through residential housekeeping tasks such as cleaning toys, children's areas, and light laundry
- Offer personal transportation assistance for school drop-offs, appointments, or outings
- Administer first aid and CPR when necessary to ensure safety at all times
- Communicate regularly with parents about children’s progress, behaviors, and any concerns
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in a nannying or childcare capacity; experience with multiple children is highly valued
- Prior experience caring for infants and toddlers; preschool experience is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work with children with disabilities or special needs
- Valid certification in first aid and CPR from a recognized organization
- Strong knowledge of childcare best practices, including meal preparation for children of various ages
- Ability to assist with personal transportation needs safely and responsibly
- Excellent caregiving skills combined with patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm
- Experience in residential housekeeping related to childcare environments is a plus
- Reliable transportation means to commute safely to the home location
