We are a small office so every employee makes an impact. Westminster FCU is looking for a consumer loan officer. Pay varies depending on experience.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Process loan applications and gather necessary documentation for auto loans (including motorcycle and RVs), signature loans, home equity loans, secured loans, etc.
- Review loan files to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Verify borrower information, employment history, and creditworthiness
- Calculate debt-to-income ratios and other financial ratios
- Prepare loan documents and coordinate with escrow and title companies
- Communicate with borrowers, lenders, and other parties involved in the loan process
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive borrower information
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in 10-key typing and data entry
- Knowledge of banking industry and loan processing procedures
- Excellent math skills for calculating financial ratios
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with escrow processes is a plus
If applicant is selected, an NMLS ID number will be required. If applicant doesn't currently have an NMLS, applicant will be required to obtain one within 6 months from employment start date. Other duties as assigned.
