Job Overview: As the Branch Manager for our staffing service, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the branch, ensuring client satisfaction, managing a team, and achieving branch goals. You will play a key role in building relationships with clients and candidates, driving sales, and executing strategies to meet staffing demands and operational targets. Your leadership will ensure the efficient, high-quality delivery of staffing services while promoting a culture of teamwork and growth within the branch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Branch Operations & Performance:
- Manage and oversee day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring smooth, efficient service delivery.
- Achieve branch sales targets by acquiring new clients and retaining existing ones.
- Develop, implement, and monitor branch strategies to meet revenue and profitability goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of staffing specialists, recruiters, and support staff.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback, coaching, and professional development.
- Foster a positive, productive work environment focused on team collaboration and success.
- Hire, train, and onboard new staff members as needed.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current clients, understanding their staffing needs and business goals.
- Proactively engage in business development efforts to expand client base and services.
- Resolve client issues promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct regular client meetings and site visits to ensure service quality and identify new opportunities.
- Recruitment & Candidate Management:
- Oversee the recruitment, screening, and placement of candidates for client roles.
- Develop and maintain a pool of qualified candidates to meet the dynamic needs of clients.
- Ensure that all placements meet client expectations, including compliance with job requirements and deadlines.
- Financial & Administrative Management:
- Monitor branch financial performance, including budgets, staffing costs, and margins.
- Prepare and present regular reports on branch performance, including sales, operations, and staffing.
- Oversee the scheduling, payroll, and other administrative tasks for branch staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in staffing, recruiting, or related industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven track record of driving sales and achieving financial goals in a staffing or service-based industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid knowledge of employment laws, recruitment best practices, and industry trends.
- Proficient in MS Office and staffing software/systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing a branch or location within a staffing or recruitment agency.
- Knowledge of specialized industries such as IT, healthcare, or manufacturing.
