Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, pass a background check
Job Details: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the use of proven teaching techniques to bring about meaningful change in the lives of individuals with special needs. Some of the duties of an Registered Behavior technician include implementing behavior change plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Annalist, implement in skill acquisition programming, and collaboration with others within the clinic. This therapy is executed on a one on one basis: for every one client, one therapist is present for therapy.
BASIC & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be Patient, compassionate, and caring
- Work with children
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to lift and carry clients with adaptive equipment.
- Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing and able to hold/transport and utilize quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan in the course of working with children with challenging behavior.
- Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions for data collection.
- Must be physically present at the assigned job location, which may include home, school, and community placements.
- Must be able to receive detailed information through oral communication.
- Must have visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication through
- computer, electronic devices, and paper means.
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Following BACB guidelines and ethics
Upon hire
1.Must pass state criminal background check

- Hands on experience with supervisor or lead technician present.
- Continual period supervision
- Periodic review of skills
- Online CPR training
- Blood-borne Pathogen training
- HIPPA training
