Summary: Established landscape firm seeks a Management and Sales professional who is focused and client-driven! Profitably manage Maintenance accounts while exceeding client expectations. Renew accounts and sell upgrades and enhancements. Ensure quality work as the key connection between our maintenance team and our clients!
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Propose and close new Maintenance and Snow contracts.
- Maintenance and Snow contract renewals.
- Enhancement sales and upselling existing clients.
- Aggressively identify and contact new business opportunities; network and build relationships within the community to develop leads.
- Respond to all client inquiries and requests for proposals promptly.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to understand their landscaping needs.
- Prepare and present accurate sales proposals/estimates to potential and existing clients.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and client satisfaction.
- Work closely with the maintenance department to provide quality work and client satisfaction.
- Proactively solve problems and offer solutions to prevent client complaints or to make it right!
- Use company software to maintain data of current, prospective, and past clients to support marketing and sales targets.
- Meet or exceed established weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals for new business, contract renewals, and enhancement work.
- Achieve client retention rate of 80% or better.
- Provide expert advice on landscape maintenance and care.
MUST HAVES:
- Proven experience in sales or account management within the landscape or relevant industry.
- Strong knowledge of landscape techniques, maintenance, and horticulture.
- Previous landscape operations management experience is preferred.
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet client needs while maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Commitment to client satisfaction and contract renewals.
- Must be proficient in the use of computers with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Highly organized, motivated, and a team player.
- A degree in horticulture, landscape architecture, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered.
