School Psychologist – Starting at $65 per and up depending on experience and credentials
Location: Eagle Butte, South Dakota
Pay: $65 per hour and up
Schedule: Weekdays during school operating hours, generally between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Exact workdays and schedule will be coordinated with the school.
Work setting: Onsite
Anticipated start: August 2026
Heart-Centered Health is seeking an experienced School Psychologist to provide onsite psychological and academic evaluation services for students in Eagle Butte, South Dakota.
This is a meaningful school-based position with a predictable weekday schedule and no routine nights or weekends.

Responsibilities
- Conduct intellectual, academic, behavioral and social-emotional evaluations
- Complete initial evaluations and reevaluations
- Prepare timely evaluation reports
- Participate in eligibility meetings
- Consult with teachers, families and school staff
- Support special-education and transition planning
- Provide crisis counseling and assessment support as needed
Required qualifications
- Degree in School Psychology
- Current South Dakota School Psychologist credential
- Current NCSP certification
- Qualification to conduct academic and mental-health evaluations in South Dakota
- At least five years of relevant school-based experience
- Ability to work onsite in Eagle Butte
- Ability to pass federal fingerprinting and background screening
- United States citizenship
Reservation, tribal, BIE or rural-school experience is preferred.
