Duties
- Prepare a variety of menu items efficiently while adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha and Micros to process customer orders accurately and swiftly
- Manage cash register operations, including processing cash transactions and handling change with basic math skills
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, upselling menu items, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean workspace by bussing tables, sanitizing equipment, and ensuring the kitchen area is organized and hygienic
- Assist in food handling duties, including assembling orders and operating kitchen equipment safely
- Support retail sales transactions when applicable, including processing payments for non-food items or promotional merchandise
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus; training will be provided if needed
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and follow food safety regulations diligently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and retail math calculations
- Experience in food preparation, food handling, sanitation, or restaurant operations is highly desirable
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
