The Parts Counter Sales Assistant are generally familiar with the appearance and purpose of thousands of parts that they sell to customers, over the counter, through the shop or on the phone. They are responsible for supplying parts to technicians who service and repair vehicles within the dealership. In addition to selling parts, Counter Sales Assistants use computer tracking to take inventory and order parts and store them in the stockroom.
Key Responsibility
- Assist customers and automotive technicians to find accessories and order parts for repairs and upgrades to commercial and consumer vehicles in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
- Process sales payments.
- Maintain inventory of stock to ensure all necessary parts are stocked and ready for purchase. Maintain orderly stockroom by labeling parts. Must be able to locate parts when customers ask for them.
- Maintain complete and orderly record keeping.
- Use systems provided to look up parts and avoid having Technicians coming to the counter.
- As a contributing Bale Team Member, helps with all other duties as assigned.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Automotive Parts Sales Occupations: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- ASE Certification (Preferred)
- Driver's License (Required)
