Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts such as reach trucks, lift trucks, pallet jacks, and barcode scanners for logistics tasks.
- Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to OSHA and warehouse safety protocols.
- Conduct manual handling and heavy lifting of materials with proper techniques to prevent injuries.
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS), ensuring accurate stock levels through barcode scanning for logistics.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision
- Perform routine equipment repairs or notify maintenance for any malfunctions of forklifts or other material handling tools.
- Assist in shipping & receiving processes by verifying incoming/outgoing goods against documentation.
- Follow warehouse distribution procedures to optimize space utilization and workflow.
- Maintain safety standards in production areas by adhering to OSHA guidelines and warehouse safety protocols.
- Support warehouse supervisor with inventory management tasks and daily operational duties.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and barcode scanners.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, order picking, load & unload procedures, and inventory warehouse management systems.
- Familiarity with safety standards in production environments such as OSHA regulations and forklift safety protocols.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with proper technique.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately.
- Prior experience in warehouse management or supervision is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent organizational skills to ensure accuracy in inventory control.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
