Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
- Perform floor care duties including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing to maintain a polished appearance across all surfaces
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to ensure guest needs are met promptly
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and safety compliance
- Follow established health and safety protocols to maintain a clean and hazard-free environment
- Assist with laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels as needed
- Support housekeeping management in inventory control and ordering supplies to ensure operational efficiency
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques specific to hospitality environments, including industrial cleaning methods
- Knowledge of floor care procedures such as polishing, waxing, and carpet cleaning
- Experience in janitorial or custodial work demonstrating attention to detail and consistency
- Background in hospitality or hotel operations is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for providing excellent guest service is essential
- Housekeeping management experience is advantageous for supervisory or team lead roles
