The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the daily operations of Fries Fries Fries by ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining company standards, supervising team members, and assisting with restaurant profitability. The Assistant Manager helps lead the team by example, promotes a positive work environment, and ensures all operational procedures are followed. This position reports to the Store Manager, District Manager and Ownership of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily operation of the restaurant.
- Lead and supervise crew members during assigned shifts.
- Ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times.
- Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation standards.
- Monitor cleanliness, sanitation, and safety throughout the restaurant.
- Assist with employee training, coaching, and development.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and workplace expectations.
- Perform opening, mid-shift, and closing management duties.
- Assist with inventory management
- Ensure proper cash handling procedures and shift change protocols are followed.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
- Support scheduling needs and maintain adequate staffing levels.
- Help achieve sales, labor, and food cost goals.
- Ensure all employees comply with health department regulations and company standards.
- Communicate effectively with the Store Manager and District Manager regarding operational concerns and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant, retail, or supervisory experience required.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality. Open availability required including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Basic math and cash handling skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
