R3D Roofing is seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Manager to join our Construction Team.
Duties
- Assist in managing daily operations and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Supervise team members and provide guidance to enhance performance.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Conduct employee orientation and training sessions for new hires.
- Participate in interviewing potential candidates to build a strong team.
- Negotiate with vendors or service providers as needed to ensure quality service.
- Support retail sales initiatives by providing excellent customer service and product knowledge.
- Accurately Estimate Jobs and secure insuarnce approvals for hail and water damage prokects
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming experience for clients.
- Sell and close Business (roofing, siding, windows, Interior Renovations) 30-40% of this role is sales and team lead
Experience
- Proven leadership experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for success in this position.
- Experience in retail sales or store management is a plus.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances client interaction capabilities.
- Familiarity with employee orientation processes and interviewing techniques is advantageous.

Job Overview
This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage various tasks efficiently. You will work closely with clients and team members to ensure a positive work environment and customer experience.
You will oversee the P&L and will be the driving force behind R3D's continued success. This role demands a quick-learning leader that is decisive and capable of managing all facets of the business, including sales, marketing, administration, personnel management, and operations. You will lead up to 3-5 field technicians completing 350 home visits per year, a $3M revenue P&L, and 10+ relationships with subcontractors.
In collaboration with the General Manager, you will directly oversee the Office, Operations and Sales, providing direction, coaching support, management and direct sales. The first year will be focused on mastering and implementing our plan of action with the help of training tools and the General Manager... You will lead and support your own sales generation and team to generate sales and complete projects. You will take a larger leadership role and P&L ownership upon hitting key objectives. Must be highly disciplined
Key Responsibilities:
Lead & Execute
- Integrate (EOS) into daily operations.. (training will be provided)
- Develop and execute plans of action to achieve company goals.
- Standardize company processes, lead initiatives, and drive company success.
- Attend regular leadership team meetings to track goals and address problems.
Operations:
- Co-Manage all operational aspects of the business
- Oversee job scheduling, dispatch, and project management
- Track (KPIs) and take corrective actions when needed.
- Ensure safety and quality standards are met across the company.
Team Development:
- Coach, mentor, and manage employee performance with direct reports (Office Manager, Operations Manager, Sales Manager).
- Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Find and develop high-potential employees with great training and management plans
- Keep all staff on track with the standards of the company operating plans.
- Collaborate with GM on hiring needs when applicable
Sales & Marketing Management:
- Develop sales strategies with the Sales Manager
- Track sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Work with sales manager to develop strategies to generate and close more leads .
Financial Oversight:
- Track financial performance, budgets and job profitability.
- Manage the company P&L.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Cost-control as needed.
Maintain Customer Satisfaction:
- Delivery outstanding customer service throughout company.
- Resolve customer concerns and complaints when escalated and resolve issues promptly.
- Enhance customer loyalty
