Overview
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests with precision and flair
- Maintain knowledge of current drink trends, cocktail recipes, and menu offerings
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and ensuring their needs are met
- Operate Square systems for order processing and cash handling
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as necessary
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to support banquet events and catering services when required
- Handle cash transactions accurately, performing basic math for payments and change
Experience
- Previous bartending experience is preferred
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety standards is essential
- Experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is highly valued
- Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations are necessary
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation is an advantage
