The Woman's Health Pavilion is a growing OB/GYN practice. We are currently seeking to fill a position in our billing department, With our Insurance verification team.
Essential Functions
- Ensure all patient demographic information is accurate
- Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility
- Calling patients to explain plan benefits and collect any outstanding balances
- Understanding copays, deductibles and coinsurance
- Answer patient questions regarding their financial responsibility as per their insurance policy plan benefits and EOBs
- Follow HIPAA guidelines in handling patient information.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Experience a plus but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of medical ICD 9/ 10 codes and CPT medical billing codes a plus
- Good patient relation skills
- Detail oriented and ability to prioritize work

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
