Director of Nursing (RN) – Home Health

Position Overview
The Director of Nursing provides overall clinical leadership and oversight of home health services. You will guide and support nursing and interdisciplinary staff, ensure regulatory compliance, improve patient outcomes, and collaborate closely with agency leadership to grow and strengthen operations.
This role is ideal for an RN ready to lead with confidence and make a meaningful impact in home health care.
What You’ll DoClinical Leadership
- Oversee all clinical operations and patient care services.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
- Monitor patient outcomes and lead Quality Assurance (QAPI) initiatives.
- Review and approve plans of care.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
Team Development
- Recruit, mentor, and retain top clinical talent.
- Provide supervision, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Lead orientation and ongoing staff education.
- Promote a positive, accountable, and supportive work culture.
Operational Oversight
- Ensure proper staffing and patient assignments.
- Oversee clinical documentation and regulatory readiness.
- Maintain and update policies and procedures.
- Partner with the Administrator on strategic planning and growth initiatives.
Community & Growth
- Represent the agency professionally in the healthcare community.
- Assist with marketing and relationship-building with referral sources.
- Support expansion of services and program development.
What We’re Looking For
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of home health experience
- At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience with QAPI and regulatory compliance
- Current CPR certification
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills

Pay: $125,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
