As a Painter Apprentice, you’ll assist our painting team with surface preparation, masking, spraying, cutting-in, and finish work. You’ll learn the full process of professional painting while helping us deliver top-quality results to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Prepare job sites by masking, taping, sanding, and cleaning surfaces
- Mix and apply paints, stains, and finishes to walls, trim, and cabinetry
- Assist with setup, cleanup, and tool maintenance
- Learn to use sprayers, brushes, and rollers safely and effectively
- Support the Lead Painter and team in completing projects on time
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear proper PPE
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Austin and nearby areas
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or scaffolding
- Basic knowledge of tools and construction is a plus, but not required
- Must be punctual, dependable, and respectful in client homes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
