We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Resident Service Ambassador to join our dedicated team.
Job description:
Administrative management
- Vendor management: Prepare requests for proposals (RFPs), negotiate contracts, and oversee service providers for landscaping, maintenance, and other needs.
- Record-keeping: Maintain, owner rosters, and other essential association documents.
Facility and maintenance oversight
- Routine inspections: Conduct regular inspections of the property's common areas, such as the lobby, hallways, gym, and pool, to ensure they are well-maintained, clean, and safe.
- Maintenance requests: Manage and process all resident maintenance requests, coordinate with staff and vendors for repairs, and track the work to completion.
- Emergency response: Handle after-hours emergency calls and coordinate a timely response for urgent issues like floods, fires, or security incidents.
Resident relations and community engagement
- Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for residents, addressing questions, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Conflict resolution: Mediate disputes between residents or between residents and the association, enforcing rules while working to de-escalate tension.
- Rule enforcement: Ensure residents comply with the association's governing documents, rules, and regulations.
- Community building: Develop community events to foster a positive living environment.
Board and legal support
- Policy implementation: Carry out policies and directives set by the board of directors.
Required skills and qualifications
A high-rise condo community needs a blend of management, and interpersonal skills to be successful.
- Experience: Office administration, customer service
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for interacting with residents, board members, and vendors.
- Organizational skills: Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities are essential for handling complex operations and numerous administrative tasks.
- Conflict resolution: The ability to navigate and resolve disputes with diplomacy and empathy is critical.
- Technological proficiency: Familiarity with property management software such as Buildium, Microsoft Office and Excel are beneficial
