Job Title: Rebar Maintenance Lead
Reports to: Rebar General Manager
Compensation: Hourly Position - Commensurate with experience
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains and repairs all equipment in rebar fabrication warehouse
- Composes, completes, and complies with maintenance procedures for each machine in warehouse
- Creates and maintains weekly, monthly, annual, and as needed maintenance schedule for each machine
- Collaborates with General Manager on special project.
- Collaborates with safety to implement and abide by all safety measures to ensure a safe environment
- Trains new employees on proper equipment operation
- Uses proper Lock Out/Tag Out procedures after receiving specified training
- Cuts and bends rebar per structural engineer design specifications
- Loads and unloads inbound and outbound material
- Operates multiple types of rebar production machinery
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 75lbs
- Good math skills
- Experience with rebar warehouse machinery
- Forklift certification
- Experience in steel fabrication
