Maaco Waukegan is looking for a motivated Automotive Estimator / Sales Advisor who enjoys working with customers and helping them get their vehicles repaired quickly and professionally.
This is a high-traffic shop with consistent walk-in customers, giving you the opportunity to write estimates and close repairs daily.
If you have experience in auto body estimating, dealership service advising, or automotive sales, this is an excellent opportunity to earn strong income in a stable environment.
What You'll Do
- Greet customers and inspect vehicles for damage
- Write repair estimates and explain repair options
- Help customers choose the best repair solution
- Schedule repairs and coordinate with production staff
- Communicate with insurance companies when necessary
- Follow up with customers during the repair process
- Convert estimates into sold repair jobs.
- Connect with local and national fleet accounts.
What We're Looking For
- Automotive estimating, service advisor, or sales experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced shop environment
- Comfortable working with customers and closing sales
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver’s license
Collision estimating experience is a plus but we are willing to train the right candidate with automotive experience.
Pay structure includes:
- Base salary
- Commission on repair sales
