- Compensation: $18 per hour, pays every Thursday
- Weekly Schedule: Mon-Fri 9:00am - 5:00pm
- Expected Start date: Immediately
Job Description:
We are currently looking for a Groundskeeper/Porter. The Groundskeeper/Porter is responsible for the overall upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings of our multi-family apartment complex. The Groundskeeper/Porter is a representative of the property and should conduct themselves in a professional, welcoming and helpful manner.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain overall cleanliness and presentation of the community, including curb appeal, trash pick up, cleaning common areas and sweeping
- Mow grassy areas using push or power mower
- Trim and edge around walks, flower beds and walls, using clippers, weed cutters and edging tools
- Spread mulch around flower beds and shrubs
- Perform trash-outs on vacated apartments, removing all trash and furniture left behind
- Assist maintenance tech as needed
Skills:
- Groundskeeping, janitorial or related experience preferred
- Able to stand extended periods and lift at least 35 pounds
- Ability to maintain a friendly, professional attitude with prospects and residents
- Must pass criminal background check
