Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and vigilant SUMMER Lifeguards to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests at our pool in MAHWAH AND OTHER BERGEN NJ LOCATIONS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring pool activities, enforcing safety rules, and providing exceptional guest services. Duties
- Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, administering first aid and CPR as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area, ensuring cleanliness and proper maintenance.
- Assist with pool cleaning and maintenance tasks, including water quality testing.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any concerns or inquiries from patrons.
Skills
- Certification in Lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid is required. In NY, CPR must be renewed yearly for swimming pools.
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues if necessary.
- Knowledge of pool cleaning techniques and equipment maintenance is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain vigilant in monitoring activities.
