We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose and repair appliances, HVAC/R units (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration), and other mechanical systems to ensure continuous operation.
- Read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to troubleshoot complex equipment issues effectively.
- Perform installation, calibration, and testing of new equipment or system upgrades as needed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests or emergency repairs to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
- Collaborate with team members or contractors on construction projects or system upgrades to ensure quality work and adherence to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance.
- Ability to interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and blueprints for troubleshooting purposes.
- Mechanical knowledge related to air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and general equipment repair.
- Experience in construction or building maintenance is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to diagnostics and repairs.
- Relevant certifications such as HVAC certification or refrigeration license are preferred but not mandatory; ongoing training is supported. Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
