Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences by delivering high-quality food and beverage service while maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcome and valued.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system or OpenTable, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions regarding food preparation, ingredients, and specials.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring that all items meet safety and quality standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations, adhering to food safety standards.
- Process payments accurately using the cash register while ensuring all transactions are handled securely.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, following proper food handling procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to create a positive dining experience for guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is essential.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy trays of food and beverages as needed.
- A team player who is willing to help colleagues when necessary.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
