Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Poly Pipe Fuser to join our dynamic construction and manufacturing team. As a Pipe Fuser, you will be responsible for expertly joining various types of piping systems using advanced welding techniques and fitting methods. Responsibilities
- Perform pipe fusion other specialized welding techniques to join pipes according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately assemble piping systems aligned to standards.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment to prepare pipes for welding or fitting.
- Conduct pipe bending, soldering, tube bending, and fitting tasks with precision to ensure proper alignment and fitment.
- Follow safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing facilities while rigging, installing or performing maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during assembly or installation processes and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including reports and compliance documentation.
Experience
- Proven experience in pipe fusion or welding within construction, manufacturing, or pipeline environments.
- Skilled to produce high-quality welds.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, and technical drawings related to piping systems.
- Pipeline installation and fabrication.
- Experience working on construction sites or industrial facilities with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material quantities; experience with calipers preferred.
- Strong understanding of rigging procedures for lifting and positioning pipes or equipment during installation.
