Honey & Ounce Club is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Inventory Specialist to oversee all aspects of cannabis inventory management within our Massachusetts recreational dispensary. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring compliance with Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) regulations, and managing inventory through METRC and Flowhub. The ideal candidate is dependable, analytical, and committed to maintaining operational excellence in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily inventory operations for all cannabis products, accessories, and retail merchandise.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using METRC and Flowhub.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Receive, verify, and process incoming deliveries from licensed vendors.
- Create and manage product transfers, package adjustments, and reconciliations in METRC.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately.
- Ensure all inventory activities comply with Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) regulations and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinate with dispensary management and purchasing teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Prepare inventory reports and provide insights on product movement, shrinkage, and stock levels.
- Organize and maintain secure storage areas following compliance and safety standards.
- Train and support team members on inventory procedures and best practices when needed.
Qualifications
- Previous inventory management experience required; cannabis industry experience strongly preferred.
- Experience using METRC is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Massachusetts cannabis compliance regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass all applicable background requirements.

- Experience with inventory reconciliation and compliance audits.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of cannabis products and industry best practices.
