Transpo Group is looking for a Project Accountant to join the Kirkland, WA office. The position will work with the accounting team in supporting project managers’ monthly project financial review and invoicing as well as other task to support the company overall.
Job Responsibilities
- Meet with project managers to review project financial reports, invoice projects and provide other support as needed
- Contract management and review
- Coordinate and pursue accounts receivable
- Perform other accounting related duties as assigned
- Must be able to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines independently and be able to work in a team environment
- Be detailed oriented with proactive follow-up
- Good communicator with great customer service skills
Required Qualifications
- 3 – 5 years project accounting and invoicing experience preferably in the AEC industry
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint preferred
- Microsoft Office proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Understanding of accounting fundamentals and general ledger practices
