**Overview:** We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Host to join our hospitality team at [Hotel Name]. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing top-notch customer service. **Responsibilities:** - Greet guests in a professional and courteous manner upon arrival and departure - Manage the reservation book and take reservations by phone or in person - Operate the Aloha POS system with ease and accuracy - Assist with seating guests and ensuring a smooth dining experience - Provide exceptional guest services, including answering questions and addressing concerns - Help with food service, including taking orders and serving guests - Maintain a clean and organized dining area - Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery - Manage the flow of guests and staff in the dining area - Provide excellent phone etiquette and handle phone calls with professionalism - Work collaboratively with other members of the hospitality team to ensure a seamless dining experience **Qualifications:** - Prior experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel setting - Excellent customer service skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff - Basic knowledge of food service and hospitality practices - Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time - Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends **Skills:** - Proficiency with Aloha POS - Experience in a hotel setting - Experience with food service and hospitality practices - Excellent customer service skills - Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff - Strong phone etiquette skills - Ability to help and assist guests - Experience in providing exceptional guest services - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong hospitality skills
