Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team and support our HR department’s vital functions. Responsibilities
- Assist with talent acquisition efforts, including sourcing candidates through HR systems, coordinating interviews, and supporting onboarding activities.
- Manage employee orientation programs to ensure new hires are welcomed and integrated smoothly into the organization.
- Support employee evaluation processes by gathering performance data, preparing documentation, and facilitating performance management initiatives.
- Administer benefits programs and assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries to ensure employees receive accurate information.
- Support compliance with employment laws such as DBHDS, CARF regulations, and affirmative action planning by maintaining accurate records and assisting in audits.
- Facilitate training & development sessions, coordinate workforce management activities, and assist in organization design projects to optimize staffing levels.
- Handle confidential personnel information with integrity while providing exceptional communication support across all levels of the organization.
Experience
- Proven experience in human resources management or HR department roles, demonstrating familiarity with HR legal compliance and employment law.
- Strong background in talent acquisition, recruiting strategies (including ATS like Lever or iCIMS), and HR sourcing techniques.
- Hands-on experience with payroll processing, benefits administration, and performance management systems such as Dayforce or SAP SuccessFactors.
- Skilled in data collection and Excel data analysis for reporting purposes; familiarity with HR systems like HRIS platforms is essential.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with conflict management abilities to foster positive employee relations.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance management including OSHA standards and Workers' Compensation procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail; project management skills are highly valued.
