Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Mechanic to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems with precision and efficiency, ensuring all products meet quality standards and specifications. Your expertise in interpreting technical drawings, using measuring instruments, and handling various tools will be essential to maintaining smooth production flow. Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical parts and systems according to detailed schematics, blueprints, and production documents.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure components meet exact specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately to guide assembly processes.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, welding equipment, and specialized industrial tools safely and effectively.
- Conduct fabrication tasks including cutting, welding, soldering, and machining as required for assembly projects.
- Follow safety protocols by properly using personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to shop safety standards during all manual handling and assembly activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while documenting assembly progress and quality checks throughout the production process.
- Be able to provide customer support as needed at customer sites (domestic or international)
Skills
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for mechanical assembly.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, fabrication techniques, welding, soldering, and machining processes.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment safely.
- Ability to interpret manufacturing documents and shop math for accurate assembly operations.
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures including forklift operation is a plus.
- Solid understanding of safety practices related to PPE use, manual handling, welding, fabrication, and machining.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is helpful.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a mechanical assembly or maintenance area.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
