We’re seeking an energetic, professional Bartender to join the Copper & Kings team and bring our brand to life behind the bar. This role is about more than just mixing drinks—it’s about creating a memorable, high-quality experience for every guest who visits our distillery. You’ll represent the spirit of Copper & Kings through exceptional service, hospitality, and storytelling that connects people to our brand and products.

Copper & Kings American Brandy Company is a trailblazing distillery based in Louisville, Kentucky. Known for doing things differently—like aging brandy in bourbon barrels and finishing bourbon in brandy barrels—we celebrate a modern American take on spirits. With a flavorful portfolio and a distinctly rebellious spirit, Copper & Kings is proud to be at the forefront of the American brandy revival.
Now under independent ownership by Bourdon Spirits Co., we’re entering an exciting new era—with a fresh brand identity, new product lines, and a creative vision rooted in culture, craftsmanship, and momentum. Your Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails and spirits with consistency, precision, and creativity
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience that reflects the Copper & Kings story and hospitality standards
- Maintain deep knowledge of our product portfolio—brandy, gin, bourbon, cocktails—and confidently share brand and product information with guests
- Keep bar areas clean, stocked, and organized at all times
- Handle transactions accurately and efficiently
- Support setup and breakdown of the rooftop bar, tasting room, and private events
- Collaborate with the events and hospitality teams to create seamless guest experiences
- Follow all safety and responsible service of alcohol guidelines
- Help identify ways to enhance bar offerings and guest engagement
- Represent the brand with pride, professionalism, and authenticity
What We’re Looking For
- Must be 21+ (spirits industry requirement)
- 2+ years bartending or mixology experience preferred (distillery or craft cocktail experience a plus)
- Passion for spirits, cocktails, and hospitality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, team-oriented, and able to perform under pressure
- High attention to detail and cleanliness
- Enthusiastic, positive, and self-motivated
- Based in or willing to relocate to Louisville, KY
