Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Production Expeditor a long-term role with a plastics manufacturer located in Tigard, OR. The Production Expeditor coordinates the flow of work and materials between departments.
PAY: $27-30hr
Production Expeditor Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the efficient flow of materials and jobs on the manufacturing floor
- Work with production managers to identify issues or constraints and communicate impact to appropriate parties
- Track expedited and/or key jobs to ensure they remain on track. Provide solutions to realign jobs that are off schedule.
- Provide analysis on potential expedites including impacts on existing schedules
- Perform as liaison between PM/Sales and Production groups
- Other duties as requested
Production Expeditor Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing, industrial machining or fabrication assembly environment working with metal or plastic
- Previous production planning or expediting experience
- Excellent organizational skills
- Able to work within the MS Office suite environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels and disciplines
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles in a low volume manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift and carry 35 lbs
