Mentor and Wellness Coach – Holistic Wellness Support (Bachelor’s Degree Required)

Keep in mind this is a contract position, and not for everyone. This is the type of job that is highly rewarding, but takes time to build your client load, we give you everything you need to succeed as a contractor, however, this job is best suited for those who really want to do this. This job is best for those looking for an alternative work/life balance where they have free time to incorporate their other gigs or interests.
The pay is reimbursed after completing your first 2 months of client meetings(we are funded by Medicaid and there is a long process of getting your time approved. However, after the first 2 months pay then goes to every month, but keep in mind getting started is slow. It works best for those looking to build a bridge from their current employment to this type of role, it's not best for someone looking for a quick and easy paycheck.
That being said, it's a really, really cool job for the right person. Entreprenuers, yoga teachers, therapists, art and music people, those in social services looking for part-time work fit best into this role.

Position Details
Service Areas:
St. Croix Co.
Work Locations:
In-home, public spaces, or community settings based on client goals
Schedule:
Flexible based on caseload
Availability after school hours required when working with children.
Rate of Pay:
Starting at $40 per hour (contract position)
Mileage:
Travel up to 120 miles round trip may be required
Travel reimbursement provided
Client Focus:
Primarily youth, with occasional work with adults depending on client needs
Helpful Backgrounds and Skills
We welcome applicants with experience or passion in:
- Mentorship and youth guidance
- Holistic wellness or yoga
- Trauma-informed support
- Life skills coaching
- Working with diverse populations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field
- Experience working with youth and/or adults in a mentoring or supportive role
- Reliable vehicle and clean driving record
- Willingness to transport clients as needed
- Successful completion of caregiver and background checks
- Commitment to providing face-to-face services with professionalism and care
