Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring that all areas meet our high standards of hygiene and presentation. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks and a commitment to providing a safe and welcoming space for all. Currently we work mostly cleaning empty apartments in the Roanoke area. Preparing them for move in. Hours vary but need availability for 8am-3pm mon-Fri
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling according to established procedures.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist in deep cleaning projects as needed, including window washing.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform tasks that require standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
