Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items following established recipes and standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, poaching stations, and food production appliances
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitizing procedures throughout all stages of food handling and preparation
- Assist in meal assembly, ensuring timely delivery of dishes during high-volume service periods
- Support menu planning efforts by preparing ingredients and suggesting improvements based on culinary best practices
- Adhere strictly to recipe specifications to ensure consistency and quality in every plate served
- Collaborate with team members to uphold cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the kitchen
Skills
- Proven experience or a strong desire to learn food preparation within a organized team environment.
- Familiarity with food safety management protocols and sanitizing procedures a plus.
- Experience with food handling, portion control, and high-volume production environments or strong desire to learn these skills.
- Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent food service skills with a focus on quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction
