Pulaski High School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resource Center Paraprofessional to play a key role in supporting student success through personalized academic assistance and structured supervision. This individual will contribute to a positive learning environment by facilitating student use of the Resource Center, collaborating with faculty, and reinforcing academic and behavioral expectations within that department. This position will work in a PHS resource center providing student support as directed and supported by PHS staff. 7:15 AM- 3:15 PM
Responsibilities: Supervise students in the Resource Center, ensuring a safe, respectful, and academically focused environment. Provide individualized academic support under the guidance of certified teachers, including assistance with assignments, organization, and study strategies. Monitor and track student progress; communicate concerns or achievements to appropriate staff. Reinforce school-wide expectations related to behavior, engagement, and integrity.
Other Skills: a. ability to use Skyward Student Management system and effective utilization of Google docs and Google email to support student learning is preferred. b. ability to assist students in organization, time management and positive attendance. c. ability to problem solve basic behavior issues in an appropriate manner. d. ability to demonstrate skills in positive human relations and cultural competence.
