Custom Homes is seeking a dependable, hard-working Construction Field Coordinator to support our Construction Manager in the construction of high-end custom homes and spec homes throughout the Birmingham area.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, follows through on tasks, communicates well, and enjoys being in the field. The right person does not need to know everything about homebuilding, but they do need to be reliable, organized, and willing to do whatever it takes to keep projects moving.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the day-to-day construction of high-end custom homes and spec homes
- Follow up with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
- Help keep projects on schedule and moving forward
- Coordinate and complete punch list items
- Perform job site walkthroughs and quality control checks
- Help solve day-to-day field issues as they arise
- Verify that assigned tasks are completed thoroughly and on time
- Assist the Construction Manager with whatever is needed to ensure successful project completion
Qualifications:
- Residential construction experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
