American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 3 years of cardiac cath lab scrub tech experience for an acute care hospital setting.

Acute care hospital with 233 staffed beds
-
Cath Lab unit performing diagnostic cardiac procedures, coronary stents, STEMIs, vascular procedures, ICDs, pacemakers, loop recorders, and carotid stenting
-
Pre- and post-procedure patient recovery responsibilities

Daily caseload of 12 cases per technologist
-
5x8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
-
Rotational on-call required, approximately every 4th weekend and one day per week

Charting in Epic (experience required)

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility

Minimum 3 years of cardiac cath lab experience as a scrub technologist

Valid MO state license required; IL candidates may be considered with a pending IL license

License required if applicable

BLS required
-
Proficiency with diagnostic cardiac procedures, coronary stents, STEMIs, vascular procedures, ICD and pacemaker implants, loop recorders, and carotid stenting

Epic EMR experience required

First-time travelers are not eligible for this position

Scrubs are provided by the facility

Free parking on site

No more than 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract; no RTO during the first week of orientation

Block scheduling is not available for this position

Former permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning to this facility system as a traveler

Travelers may work up to 18 months consecutively, after which a 3-month break in service is required
