Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to transport freight while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
- Load and unload cargo safely, including occasional forklift use.
- Maintain accurate delivery records (mileage, fuel, maintenance).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members.
- Perform basic vehicle repairs as needed to ensure reliability.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Previous experience in freight transportation preferred.
- Clean Driving Record
- Basic automotive repair knowledge helpful.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
