Speedy Tune-Up’s Fleet Services is looking for dependable Light Duty Mechanic and can do Oil/ Tire Technicians duties to fill positions in West Palm Beach. Performing maintenance on fleet vehicles including oil, fluid and tire changes, repairs and rotations. We are a mobile business so we travel to the fleet locations to perform service on site. Rapidly growing and expanding company, room for growth. Job openings are for full-time positions. Pay is based on experience and is reviewed after 90 days for an increase. We pay for the full week, ie when there are slow days you get to leave early but still get paid for the whole day.
Responsibilities:
- Know how to replace brake pads, rotors, sensors & reset codes if applicable.
- Battery Changes, Spark Plugs, Ignition Coils,
- Replace suspension parts.
- Replace wear items such as water pumps, alternators, A/C parts, Air Filters, Fuel Filters.
- Install body parts like headlights, taillights, running lights, bumpers, grills.
- Knowledge on how to use computer to reset codes, re-calibrate sensors.
- Able to do oil changes quickly and correctly
- Perform Tire Rotations, do Tire Patches, Mount and Balance Tires
- Performing multi-point inspections
- Maintaining a clean and safe work space
Requirements:
- Previous Mechanic / Lube/Oil Tech experience is required
- ASE Certified Preferred
- Experience must be at a auto repair business not working on own vehicle.
- Previous Tire Mounting & Balancing is required
- Know how to reset vehicle computers after oil changes
- Hold a valid and clean driver’s license
- Must be flexible with work hours and able to work Saturdays when needed.
- Must be self motivated and able to work well with others
- Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
