Duties: Must be able to travel in and out of State.
- Perform phlebotomy procedures to collect blood samples from patients
- Follow laboratory procedures and protocols for specimen collection and handling
- Label and properly prepare specimens for transport to the clinical laboratory
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and test results
- Adhere to safety and infection control policies and procedures
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of phlebotomy supplies
- Provide excellent customer service to patients during the collection process
Experience:
- Previous experience as a phlebotomy technician or in a related role preferred
- Knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures for specimen collection and handling
- Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of laboratory test requisitions
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and healthcare providers
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in specimen labeling and record keeping
