Job Summary
Lemay Avenue Health and Rehab is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our healthcare team. The CNA will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care within a supportive and professional environment. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, including long-term care, memory care, and post-acute services, with a focus on enhancing patient well-being and comfort.
Duties
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Support patients with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, or behavioral health conditions.
- Maintain accurate medical records using EMR/EHR systems like PointClickCare.
- Follow aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
- Provide compassionate caregiving tailored to the needs of individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges.
Qualifications
- Valid CNA certification required; prior experience in long-term care, memory care, or hospital settings is highly preferred.
- Experience with medical terminology, and vital signs measurement.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as sPontClickCare is a plus.
- Knowledge of specialized care areas including Alzheimer’s/dementia care, behavioral health, post-acute care, or pediatrics is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: $19.00 - $32.48 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 40.0 per week
