Swimming Pool Service Technician

Pay: Starting at $27.00 to $35.00 per hour (based on experience and certifications)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Swimming Pool Service Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential swimming pool maintenance, water chemistry, equipment operation, and customer service. This position requires a motivated professional capable of leading a two-person crew during pool openings, closings, and weekly maintenance routes.
Responsibilities
Perform weekly swimming pool maintenance and cleaning services
Test, diagnose, and balance pool water chemistry
Lead and supervise a two-person crew during pool openings and closings
Program and troubleshoot pool automation systems, including:
Pentair
Hayward
Jandy
Perform minor repairs and service work related to:
Pumps
Filters
Heaters
Salt systems
Automation controls
Plumbing components
Identify equipment issues and recommend corrective actions
Maintain accurate service records and customer notes
Operate company vehicles and equipment safely and professionally
Deliver excellent customer service while representing the company in the field
Qualifications
Required
Minimum 3 years of professional swimming pool service experience
Strong understanding of pool water chemistry, testing, and balancing
Experience performing weekly maintenance and service routes
Experience leading pool opening and closing crews
Ability to diagnose and complete minor equipment repairs
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions
Preferred
CST (Certified Service Technician) certification from the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA)
Experience programming Pentair, Hayward, and Jandy automation systems
Knowledge of saltwater systems, variable-speed pumps, heaters, and automation controls
