Client Relationship Specialist
ID is seeking a highly organized, relationship-driven, and proactive Client Relations Specialist to join our Los Angeles office, supporting clients across ID Dance Competition and ID x PL.
This position is responsible for delivering an exceptional and consistent client experience. The Client Relations Specialist will serve as a key point of contact for our clients, providing thoughtful support, resolving needs, and building strong relationships while collaborating closely with internal teams.
The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and takes pride in providing an elevated level of service. A background in competitive dance, fashion, retail, and/or the performing arts is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients across ID Dance Competition and ID x PL.
- Manage Director Line calls, emails, and other client communications with professionalism and timely follow-through.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with studio owners, directors, educators, dancers, customers, and clients nationwide.
- Support client inquiries related to events, registration, accounts, orders, products, and general brand needs.
- Resolve client questions and concerns thoughtfully and efficiently, coordinating with internal teams when necessary.
- Maintain accurate client information, communications, and follow-up activity within company systems.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Registration, Events, Merchandise, and other teams to provide a seamless client experience.
- Identify client feedback, trends, and opportunities and communicate relevant insights internally.
- Support client retention, relationship-building initiatives, and special projects as business needs evolve.

Qualifications
- Previous professional experience in client relations, customer experience, hospitality, sales, events, management, or another relationship-focused environment.
- Previous experience leading, supervising, or mentoring a team strongly preferred.
- Background in dance, performing arts, or the dance competition/convention industry strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong judgment, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, client relationships, and team needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional and confident when communicating with studio owners, educators, employees, leadership, and external partners.
- Proficiency with CRM and modern workplace technology; experience with HubSpot, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, or similar platforms preferred.
- Ability to occasionally adjust working hours or travel based on event, client, and business needs.
Work Environment
This is a full-time, in-office position based at ID Dance Competition's Los Angeles office. The position maintains a regular office schedule; and, as a national live-events organization, occasional flexibility may be required for company events, client needs, travel, or time-sensitive business matters.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
