REPAIR AND RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER
Position Summary
The Repair and Reconstruction Project Manager is responsible for successfully delivering construction services for clients and key relationships. This role works diligently to meet and exceed customer expectations, develop and grow referral relationships, and steward the company brand. The Repair and Reconstruction Project Manager reports to the Rebuild and Contents Pack Out Department Manager.
5 Major Roles
1. Project Management & Job Delivery
- Manage rebuild and repair projects from start to finish
- Scope jobs and prepare estimates
- Manage project costs and adhere to predetermined budgets
- Manage production schedules and timelines
- Perform repairs and rebuild work as necessary
- Ensure projects are completed on time and in accordance with company standards
- Maintain absolute adherence to high quality standards
2. Workforce, Subcontractor & Vendor Management
- Manage subcontractor relationships and delivery of services
- Recruit subcontractors
- Manage in-house trade staff
- Oversee temporary labor teams
- Manage material and resource providers/vendors
- Support ongoing training and development of team members
- Provide supervision and leadership to subcontractors, in-house trade staff, temporary labor teams, and vendors
3. Quality Control, Safety & Worksite Oversight
- Ensure quality control on all projects
- Ensure work site safety and compliance with company expectations
- Oversee work performed in residential and commercial work site environments
- Maintain awareness of standard work site risks and conditions
- Work hands-on in construction environments as needed
4. Customer, Tenant & Relationship Management
- Manage customer and tenant relations throughout the project lifecycle
- Deliver a high level of customer service and communication
- Develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with clients and key partners
- Help meet and exceed customer expectations
- Contribute to operational sales and development of the company brand
- Steward the company brand in the field and in client interactions
5. Financial Performance & Administrative Execution
- Collect project funds
- Monitor budgets and project financial performance
- Use computers, phone, 3-D camera, and other mobile platforms to support project execution
- Utilize MS Office Suite and industry-specific software
- Maintain administrative and project-related documentation as required
- Support overall department operations through timely communication, planning, and follow-through

Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods of sitting in vehicles and at a desk working on a computer
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at a time
- Prolonged periods of exposure to noise created by power tools, equipment, and heavy machinery
- Exposure to standard work site environments
- Must be able to work with hands in construction settings
Travel Required
- Travel to client's homes in our service area is required
- Minimum travel outside the immediate operating area may be required
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of related experience
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Reliable transportation
Preferred Education and Experience
- Two or more years of experience managing construction or repair projects
- Experience in the restoration industry is an added plus
- IICRC certifications in Water, Fire, and Mold Restoration
- Project management-related certifications and/or training
- Drywall repair and interior construction experience
Salary
- Negotiable depending on experience
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
