- Utilize appropriate inspection and metrology tools such as caliper, measuring tools, and inspection equipment InspecVision to perform visual and dimensional inspections of industrial rubber/metal parts in QC.
- Interpret Military and industrial specifications, contract notes, and technical drawings precisely; retrieve inspection instructions on parts dimensions, material marking, packaging, labeling, and shipping requirements to ensure accuracy; manage access data base with parts inspection status; coordinate packaging materials with Supply Chain and shipping with Logistics, and coordinate scheduling with Production.
- Supervise hardware inspectors.
- Work with customers and suppliers to resolve quality non-compliance issues.
- Prepare for quality audits. Work with customers' quality auditors.
- Update internal quality records and quality manual.
- Review contracts and purchase orders.
- Prepare to get certified as NNS SDI hardware and software inspector.
- Ensure shipment documents are in order with proper contract modifications.
- Return defect parts, document it, and follow up; inform and coordinate with FWG Gov Sales, Purchasing, Accounting, Shipping & Receiving for any discrepancies.
- Process NNS VIR and resolve QN with customer and supplier.
- Update QA working instructions; enforce QA procedures, conduct internal audits, act as ISO Management Rep, conduct management reviews, maintain ISO compliance.
- Involve in LEAN program.
- Train and work with TMAC on AS9100 quality system, maintain and update new quality manuals.
- Establish production workflow maps.
- Tooling updates.
- Warehouse production flow and inventory mapping.
Job Qualifications
- US citizenship is required, detail oriented, accuracy a must, multi-task capable, strong math/reading skills, good communication skills, hands-on, knowledgeable in Excel, Access, typing 50WPM
- Engineering / science / technical degree preferred, manufacturing and industrial experiences required.
