Security Officer Unarmed
As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in Salem, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns at the location.

Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and observe deliveries, visitors, and/or contractors entering or leaving sensitive operational areas.

Support security-related operations at a utilities location by remaining alert to equipment areas, restricted zones, and environmental conditions that could impact normal site activity.
Minimum Requirements:

Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
