Job Summary
Perfecto Staffing is hiring an experienced Inventory Control & Quality Assurance (ICQA) Associate to support inventory accuracy, quality, and warehouse operations.
The ICQA Associate will be responsible for conducting physical inventory counts, cycle counts, inventory consolidations, and investigations of inventory discrepancies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, organized, and comfortable working with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts to verify product accuracy and inventory levels.
- Perform inventory consolidations to maximize space utilization and maintain system accuracy.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and identify root causes.
- Recommend and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring inventory issues.
- Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track, monitor, and report inventory data.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inventory transactions, adjustments, and audits.
- Perform quality assurance checks to ensure products meet company and customer standards.
- Work closely with Receiving, Shipping, and Operations teams to identify and resolve inventory issues.
- Monitor inventory trends to identify potential shrinkage, errors, and process inefficiencies.
- Assist with preparing inventory reports for management.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and inventory accuracy programs.
- Assist with developing and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of warehouse experience with inventory control or ICQA responsibilities.
- Previous experience performing physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Experience investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Knowledge of inventory control processes and warehouse operations.
- Experience using a WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle products according to facility requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement processes.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Spanish-speaking skills preferred, but not required.

Candidates must be reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to work overtime when needed.
