We are currently accepting applications for a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Charge Nurse within our long-term care and rehab facility specializing in geriatrics. This leadership role is ideal for an LPN who is passionate about resident care, enjoys supporting a team, and takes pride in providing quality nursing services in a warm and family-oriented environment.

Qualifications
-
Current Alabama LPN License or Temporary PN License
-
Long-Term Care experience preferred, but not required
-
Supervisory or Charge Nurse experience preferred

Strong leadership and communication skills

Positive attitude and compassionate approach to resident care

Ability to work well with residents, families, physicians, and staff

Must pass background check and drug screen
Essential Job Functions

Supervise and support CNA staff during assigned shift

Ensure quality resident care and adherence to nursing standards

Administer medications and treatments as ordered

Complete accurate documentation and resident assessments

Monitor residents for changes in condition and notify physician/family as needed

Assist with admissions, discharges, and care planning

Promote a positive and team-oriented work environment

Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Respond quickly and professionally to resident needs and emergencies
