Responsibilities
- Plan engaging lesson plans.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages positive behavior management and child welfare through effective classroom management practices.
- Work closely with children to support their individual needs, including toddlers and children requiring special education or additional early intervention services.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and classroom activities to promote collaborative support.
- Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and standards for daycare and private school environments while promoting a safe and inclusive space for all children.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in preschool settings or daycare environments, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management tailored to early childhood education standards.
- Knowledge of special education practices, early intervention techniques, and literacy education strategies to support diverse learners.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and children alike.
- Certification or degree in early childhood education or related field; or experience is highly preferred.
