Willis Cosmetic Surgery & MedSpa is seeking an experienced PRN Surgical First Assist / Surgical Closer to support our high-volume cosmetic surgery practice.
This role is ideal for a skilled surgical professional who is confident assisting in cosmetic procedures and experienced in long-line suturing and aesthetic closure techniques. The position supports both awake in-office procedures under local/tumescent anesthesia as well as surgery center cases under general anesthesia.
Schedule
PRN / As-needed based on surgical schedule
Primary availability needed Monday–Wednesday
About Our Practice
Willis Cosmetic Surgery is a busy cosmetic surgery practice specializing in body contouring procedures including abdominoplasty, brachioplasty, breast surgery, and liposuction. Our practice is known for performing a high volume of awake cosmetic surgery with a strong focus on patient experience, efficiency, and surgical outcomes.
Responsibilities
- First assist during cosmetic surgery procedures
- Perform long-line suturing and cosmetic closures
- Assist with both awake in-office procedures (local/tumescent anesthesia) and surgery center cases under general anesthesia
- Support the surgeon and surgical team to maintain efficient case flow and turnover
- Assist with operative setup and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
Qualifications
- Previous surgical first assist experience required
- Demonstrated experience with long-line suturing and cosmetic closures
- Experience in plastic or cosmetic surgery strongly preferred
- RNFA, PA, NP, CST/CSFA, or other qualified surgical assist credential preferred
- Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical workflow
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment
